Software Developer

Your Responsibility:

• Development of an automatic quality management system for IIoT data, providing the foundation of an existing platform for energy market related optimizations, monitoring, automatization and billing of power plants
• Direct and close collaboration with energy production experts as well as external software developers and data scientists
• Proposal and implementation of your own ideas to improve the platform and development process
• Integration of COTS software from the energy sector

Your Profile:

• Good Scala skills and solid knowledge about statistics
• Experience with Linux and Micro-Service architecture
• Preference to work within a small team and to take ownership over your work
• Business fluency in English
• Experience in the following areas is beneficial:
• Handling of time series data
• Python (SciPy, numpy, Pandas etc.)
• Operational Technology (OT) or IIoT
• PostgreSQL or Kafka
• “Functional Scala” (i.e. Cats, Scalaz, ZIO etc.)
